A Top–Up degree is the equivalent to the final year of undergraduate study, that gives you a Bachelor’s level qualification.

You can top-up if you complete an HND or an equivalent qualification, or complete 2 years of a three-year degree or three years of a four-year degree in your home country. 

Students choose to top-up their Level 5 qualification (HND, foundation etc.) to gain access to graduate schemes or graduate-level jobs, which require full Bachelor’s degree or to continue to a postgraduate level of study.
